The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for video editing and a keen eye for detail. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing video content for various digital platforms, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with our clients’ branding and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos that meet the creative brief and project requirements.
• Collaborate with the content creation team to understand project goals and deliver high-quality video content.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance video storytelling.
• Ensure all video content is consistent with brand guidelines and meets the required technical specifications.
• Perform color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production tasks to ensure professional-quality videos.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all video content.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and digital media.
Qualifications:
Intern Position:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
• Full-Time Position: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience in video editing, either through coursework, internships, freelance work, or professional experience.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for digital media.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with motion graphics and animation software such as Adobe After Effects.
• Knowledge of sound design and audio editing.
• Understanding of color grading techniques and software.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their video content requirements.
